- Beschreibung
- The research of Dr. Sharpe’s group is focused around a better understanding of vertebrate limb development. The aim is to understand it at the level of gene regulation but also at the level of the physical interactions between cells. Dr. Sharpe’s group includes embryologists, computer scientists, imaging specialists and engineers, applying different methodologies ranging from novel approaches for data-capture (live time-lapse OPT imaging), over finite-element simulations of the growing 3D structure, to computer models of gene regulatory networks responsible for pattern formation. For more details please have a look at the web site of the Sharpe lab: .
