Diversity Analysis: Exploring Alpha and Beta diversity to compare microbial composition across different treatment groups or environments. Functional Metagenomics: Introduction to predicting the metabolic and functional potential of the community (e.g., mapping antimicrobial resistance genes). Day 2: Transcriptomics & Spatial Integration Focus: Investigating gene expression dynamics—discovering "what genes are actively doing" and "where it is happening." Morning: Bulk and Single-Cell RNA-Seq Analysis Fundamentals of Transcriptomics: Measuring global gene expression. The RNA-Seq Pipeline: Mapping reads to a reference genome and quantifying expression levels.
