- Description
- Gamification describes the concept of introducing game elements in non-game applications to increase measures such as user engagement and motivation. Supporting the implementation of gamification was subject of previous research and is covered by gamification platforms. However, what current solutions do not provide yet, is support for the whole cycle of gamification projects. Indeed, the aspects of measuring gamification success and adapting gamification designs have not been investigated yet. Accordingly, they lack a suitable methodology, concrete requirements, and appropriate tool support. This talk motivates gamification analytics, presents the results of a preliminary requirements study, analyzes related work.
