- Description
- We give a brief update on the current status of theory and experiment of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. We then focus on the hadronic light-by-light scattering contribution to the muon g-2 and review the attempts by several groups using various approaches to estimate this contribution. We end with some recent developments and an outlook on how to better control the uncertainty of hadronic light-by-light scattering, in order to fully profit from planned future muon g-2 experiments to test the Standard Model and to constrain models of New Physics.
