Current research results show that physical activity from youth until old age stimulate the generation of neurons in the brain and decrease the risk for neurological disease as stroke or dementia. At the public event of the DNG Professor Alexander Storch, Professor Gerd Kempermann, and Dr. Ulf Bodechtel the current insights for laymen. Finally Jürgen Petersen, marathon runner, and grand master of memory, the time of jogging or walking for memory training by simple methods. The event is moderated by the ARD/MDR sports reporter Torsten Püschel. The entry is free. Registration is not required.
