Description
The scattering amplitudes for 2->2 scattering of electroweak vector bosons are a direct probe of the electroweak symmetry-breaking mechanism. Since the recent discovery of a Higgs-like boson we expect a strong cancellation in these amplititudes, which can be probed at the LHC and at a future lepton collider. Physics beyond the Standard Model in the electroweak sector cannot be excluded. Therefore, we need a parameterization of the possible effects. I discuss a framework for including generic anomalous interactions and resonance models which respects unitarity and is suitable for generating simulated LHC or ILC/CLIC events.
