- Much of the data we work with has an underlying shape and often leaves on curved spaces rather than flat Euclidean ones, that traditional machine learning methods often ignore. In her lecture “Geometry-aware Representation”, Dr. Parvaneh Joharinad will show how ideas from geometry, specifically curvature profiles, can help us design representations that respect this structure.
