Description

Invitation to scientific-technical seminar:

“Optimal sample preparation for flow cytometry – fundamentals, challenges, and best practices”

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to our scientific-technical seminar, which is dedicated to the crucial but often underestimated aspect of sample preparation prior to flow cytometric analysis and sorting.

Flow cytometry is a powerful tool for single-cell analysis – however, its accuracy depends largely on the quality and standardization of sample processing. The aim of this seminar is to highlight key aspects of sample preparation, identify common sources of error, and present current developments and best practices from research and practice.

Topics covered in the seminar include:

  • Single cell and cell nucleus isolation
  • Special features of different sample types (e.g., blood, tissue, cell cultures)
  • Antibodies for sample labeling

Target audience:

Scientists, technical assistants, and users from research, clinical practice, and industry who work with flow cytometry or plan to use it.

Date: Wednesday, September 3, 2025

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Location: CRTD, 2nd floor east, seminar room 2

The seminar is free of charge and registration is not required. We are looking forward to your participation and to a lively exchange with you.

Best regards,

Your Flow Cytometry Core Facility Team
