What is Hidden Under the Noise? - Tips, Tricks and Strategies Using A Pragmatic Approach
Noise is a very common issue in many electrophysiological recording techniques. From mechanical vibrations, over the ubiquitous line frequency hum, to pickup of signals from electronic devices, there are various forms of noise that can contaminate, or even completely obscure the signal of interest.
In this talk, Jan Dolzer (PhD) from Sutter Instrument discusses tips and tricks on how to implement the best strategy of dealing with noise – avoiding it, rather than filtering it out in post-processing.
The talk will be followed by how Sutter Instrument equipment can enable your electrophysiological endeavor.
- Start of the Talk + Q&A: 10:00 AM
- E-phys device introduction: 11:00 AM
Therefore, electrophysiology labs that already master noise issues and cannot make it to the talk, are warmly welcome to join from 10:45 AM onward.
Please don´t hesitate to contact Dr. Beate Knauer ephys.facility@tu-dresden.de (mailto:ephys.facility@tu-dresden.de) for further questions. - No registration is required beforehand.
We can´t wait to welcome you to this exciting talk!
