 escription: Hybrid metal composite structures offer high potential in ligh
 tweight construction. They combine different materials\, which are superio
 r to classic structures in terms of strength\, stiffness and weight. Howev
 er\, the development and manufacture of such components are very complex. 
    On a prototype scale\, such hybrid structures have already been success
 fully designed\, manufactured\, and tested. But the transfer to industrial
  applications is currently still a challenge. The multitude of adjustable 
 and interacting parameters in the areas of design\, dimensioning\, manufac
 turing and quality assurance leads to a complex and multidisciplinary deve
 lopment\, validation and manufacturing process.    The aim of this innovat
 ion workshop\, which takes place as part of the NDT4INDUSTRY seminar serie
 s\, is to present current development results of the joint research projec
 t \"robust evp 4.0“ in the fields development process of hybrid structur
 es\, manufacturing and non-destructive testing (NDT) and to discuss in sma
 ll groups about necessary steps for the introduction of this technologies.

  Institute for Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology at TU Dresde
