Abstract:
The standard model of particle physics is currently the most successful models in describing the fundamental particle and their interactions. However, there are still open questions regarding the neutrino masses and lepton number violation. Investigations of these phenomena often depend on nuclear data and models that have to be explored and improved. This is one of the overall goals of the Nuclear Physics group at IKTP. This talk will discuss some of the contributions that the research team at the IKTP has made to explore physics beyond the standard model.
