- Description
This DIPP Vision Talk will be postponed to another date which we’ll publish here in due time.
One of the most remarkable examples of self-organized structure formation is the development of a complex organism from a single fertilized egg. With the identification of many molecules that participate in this process, attention has now turned to capturing the physical principles that govern the emergence of biological form. Beyond those that also apply to dead matter, general physical laws that specifically govern the dynamics and the formation of structure in living matter have not really been identified. However, we will need them to understand morphogenesis. How will we get them?
