Prof. Kathrin Schumann from TUM (Munich) will talk about CRISPR engineering immune cells towards clinical translation. Kathrin Schumann was trained at the Marson and Bluestone labs at UCSF. Her research focuses on engineering HIV resistant T cells, engineering improved CAR T cells, and dissecting transcriptional regulation in human regulatory T cells.
