Sportler aufgepasst! Auch diesen Sommer könnt ihr beim traditionellen Drachen­boot­rennen beim Elb­hang­fest im inter­nationalen Studenten­team um den Pokal rudern! Vor­kennt­nisse im Paddeln sind nicht notwendig. Der Spaß steht im Vor­der­grund.
An drei Sonntagen hintereinander werden wir trainieren und paddeln. Am 10. und 17. Juni 2018, absolvieren wir unsere Trai­nings­stun­den auf dem Wasser und im Trockenen. Am Elbhangfest-Wochen­ende, 23.-24. Juni 2018, wird's ernst beim Pokal­rennen und ihr habt die Möglichkeit euer Können unter Beweis zu stellen!

Wichtig: Ihr müsst zu allen drei Terminen dabei sein. Der Renntag für Studen­ten­teams wird bald bekannt gegeben, wahr­schein­lich Sonntag, 24.6.18.
Wir planen nicht umzukippen, aber alle TeilnehmerInnen müssen schwimmen können.

Eigenanteil: 20 Euro (vor der Veranstaltung im Kulturbüro bezahlen)

Im Preis enthalten:
- Startgebühr und Trainingseinheiten
- Team-T-Shirt und Elbhangfest-T-Shirt
- Eintritt zum Elbhangfest (Fr-So)
- Snacks bei Training und Wettkampf

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT TEAM AT DRAGON BOAT RACE

Sports lovers listen up! This summer we are looking for you to complete our inter­national student team at the trad­itional dragon boat race during the Elbhang­fest, a district festival along the North Eastern shore of the Elbe river, from Loschwitz to Pillnitz. No fancy canoeing skills are nec­es­sary; only bring a positive attitude and ba­sic swimming skills!
On three Sundays in a row we will get some basic training and get on the water. On June 10th and 17th, our training sessions on water and solid ground take place. On the Elb­hang­fest weekend, June 23th to 24th 2018, you can show your skills at the race!

Important: Presence on all dates is ob­liga­tory for participation. The exact date of the racing day for student teams will be an­nounced soon, probably Sunday, June 24th.

Fee: 20 Euros (pay at the Cultural Office before the event)

Included in the price:
- starting fee and training
- team shirt and Elbhangfest shirt
- admission to the Elbhangfest (Fri-Sun)
- snacks on training and racing day
