Description

Carbon-based materials are attracting a great attention for their potential in spintronic application. Although carbon spintronics is still a nascent field, this workshop will gather its leading scientific actors. In the workshop there will be a special attention to the materials (including molecules, molecular magnets, carbon nanotubes and graphene), as well as to the diversity of quantum spin transport phenomena occurring in coherent regimes. The different lectures will cover diverse experimental and theoretical topics such as magnetoresistance phenomena, atomic scale spin engineering, spin injection and spin manipulation, memories and logic device functionalities and spin qubits.
