- Sturm-Liouville problems with eigenparameter dependent boundary conditions have been studied for over 40 years. However the closely related problem of eigenparameter dependent transmission conditions has received little attention (despite it relevance to electrical engineering). We will give various formulations of such problems and discuss what is know about such problems as well as what we would still like to know.
