- Description
- A variety of 2D material family members show promising applications in clean energy storages, such as in rechargeable batteries, supercapacitors and hydrogen storage. However, a well 2D form is not the ideal structure for the electrochemical and hydrogen storage; they need to be texturally and/or chemically functionalized in order to achieve outstanding performances. In this presentation, I will introduce our works on functionalized graphene, MoS2 and boron nitride materials for rechargeable battery and hydrogen storage applications. Cutting-edge in situ TEM techniques were used to clarify the mechanisms during the electrochemical energy storage processes. Attentions will be put on disclosing the correlations between the exhibited performances and the structural designs of the 2D materials.
