- Description
- While chaos in dynamical systems is well understood in many situations, the implications on the properties of corresponding quantum systems pose many interesting questions. We give an introductory overview addressing spectral statistics and the structure of eigenfunctions in fully chaotic systems and systems with a mixed phase space. For illustrations and visualizations billiard systems and maps will be used. Recent developments and future challenges, in particular for higher-dimensional systems, will be briefly discussed at the end.
