- Description
- Recently, Eklund et al. (PNAS, 2016) have shown that under some circumstances, fMRI analyses can produce false positive rates that exceed the nominal value. In this talk, after a brief general introduction of family-wise error correction and how it is implemented in SPM, the main findings of Eklund et. al will be discussed. After the talk, all participants are invited to share their opinion on the topic and we will debate the practical implications of the Eklund paper.
