- Beschreibung
- Correlative light and electron microscopy combines the versatility of a light microscope (usually a fluorescence microscope) with the resolution power of an electron microscope. This technique provides ultra-structural as well as contextual information and thus enables to image across different scales, from centimeter to nanometer. The seminar will focus on the technical aspects of the method as well as its application. Thomas Müller-Reichert (MTZ): Introduction Thomas Kurth (CRTD): CLEM of immunolabelled ultra-thin sections Jean-Marc Verbavatz (MPI-CBG): Using CLEM to characterize unknown intracellular compartments Michaela Wilsch-Bräuninger (MPI-CBG): Identification of rare structures by CLEM Andreas Müller (PLID): Ultrastructural analysis of insulin secretory granule ageing by super resolution and transmission electron microscopy Nicolas Brouilly (MPI-CBG): Correlative PALM/STORM and electron tomography
