- The research of Prof. Dr. Sixt includes: Michael Sixt's laboratory is studying leukocytes that migrate between different tissues of the body in order to coordinate an immune response. Using advanced microscopy, we are trying to understand how leukocytes, in particular dendritic cells, move and react to guidance cues or change their shape according to different environments.
