 - Beschreibung
 - Performing biology experiments is important for academia, industry, and education, but many access barriers to experimentation exist, such as training needs, cost, safety, logistics, and spatial separation. My lab develops different strategies, devices and interfaces to lower these access barriers for different user groups and applications. During my talk I will provide answers to question like: How to enable 4 year olds and theoretical physicists to run their own experiments? How to integrate true labs into online education? What is the optimal architecture for a cloud experimentation platform (akin to cloud computation)? Ultimately, interacting with microbiological processes should become ubiquitous and simple as our daily interactions with electronic devices, i.e., “child’s play”
