- Understanding the Origins of Life has been a natural and continuous desire of mankind. Recent advances in very different scientific fields have opened new perspectives, from the supramolecular chemistry of biological macromolecules and the biochemistry of simple cellular systems to the biogeochemistry of Earth and the discovery of exoplanets with potentially life-sustaining conditions. This symposium aims at assessing new approaches towards an understanding of the Origins of Life, bringing together researchers from biology, chemistry and physics.
