  by Dr. Ute Kalender.    Ute Kalender (https://utekalender.de/) is a schol
 ar with an interdisciplinary profile in gender studies\, media studies\, a
 nd participatory research. In addition to her academic work in research an
 d teaching\, she has been a member of the German Ethics Council since Octo
 ber 2024. Her research focuses include gender and science studies\, queer 
 disability theory\, and the digitalization of care and healthcare.    At t
