The Machine Learning in Biology Symposium is organized by the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG) and the Cluster of Excellence Physics of Life (PoL).
Machine Learning is rapidly expanding, playing a crucial role in solving various problems, particularly in biophysics.
The data analysis in life sciences stands to gain immensely from advanced tools developed by Machine Learning experts. To bridge the gap between these two worlds, we invite researchers in the life science field to join the Symposium. At this event, Machine Learning experts will showcase how advanced techniques can significantly enhance research.
The Symposium promises a full day of talks featuring outstanding scientists from the Saxony region, including representatives from TUD, MPI-CBG, Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (MPI MiS), Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), and the National Center for Tumor Diseases Dresden (NCT/UCC).
The primary objective of the symposium is to deepen understanding of Machine Learning's role in solving biomedical problems, tailored specifically for researchers in Saxony. This event is a collaborative effort by Saxony to benefit researchers in the region.
