 Covi&amp\;lt\;/strong&amp\;gt\; is a Scientist at NaMLab gGmbH\, Dresden (
 Germany). She received her PhD in Microelectronics in 2014 from the Univer
 sity of Pavia (Italy)\, where she worked on designing integrated systems f
 or the characterisation of memristive devices. Before joining NaMLab\, she
  worked at the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy first\, then at Po
 litecnico di Milano (Italy).&amp\;lt\;/p&amp\;gt\; &amp\;lt\;p&amp\;gt\;Sh
 e won an ERC Starting Grant on memristive neurons and synapses for neuromo
 rphic edge computing in 2021.&amp\;lt\;/p&amp\;gt\; &amp\;lt\;p&amp\;gt\;S
 he is Senior Member IEEE and member of the Board of Governors of the IEEE
 Circuits And Systems Society for the period 2022 – 2024.&amp\;lt\;/p&amp
 \;gt\; &amp\;lt\;p&amp\;gt\;Her research interests lie at the intersection
  of emerging devices\, circuit design\, and brain-inspired computing. More
  specifically\, they focus on exploiting the intrinsic physical characteri
 stics of memristive devices to reproduce computational primitives of the b
 rain in mixed neuromorphic-memristive systems.&amp\;lt\;/p&amp\;gt\;
