- Dr. Matthias Groß will report on the current status of shaping of laser pulses in space and time at the Photo Injector Test facility in DESY Zeuthen (PITZ). Temporal and spatial distributions of laser pulses define properties of emitted electron bunches and a specific 3D elliptical shape is supposed to be particularly advantageous for improving quality of an electron beam.
