- Beschreibung
- In 2012, Data Scientist was declared the sexiest job, and the decade was characterized by a lack of talent, too few experts, and much proof-of-concept work. In the next ten years, we will organize AI at scale. The parameters have shifted, often fundamentally, and we know from data and experience what works best and is important and urgent. In ten points, I will outline the consequences for data careers, especially those starting a data career: 1. There is no lack of talent. 2. It’s all about the data. 3. Digitalisierung is a bad choice. 4. Your company wants use cases in production. 5. Three people are not a data team. 6. You need an infrastructure for multi-modal data processing. 7. Be the go-to expert: Data roles are evolving by industry and function. 8. Your company must embrace data literacy. 9. Getting use cases in production is a hard problem. 10. Businesses and regulators need leaders they trust.
