 urrently the most successful models in describing the fundamental particle
  and their interactions. However\, there are still open questions regardin
 g the neutrino masses and lepton number violation. Investigations of these
  phenomena often depend on nuclear data and models that have to be explore
 d and improved. This is one of the overall goals of the Nuclear Physics gr
 oup at IKTP. This talk will discuss some of the contributions that the res
 earch team at the IKTP has made to explore physics beyond the standard mod
 el.</p>
