Beschreibung

Muons can be copiously produced and serve as a clean probe for stringent tests of the Standard Model. While lepton-flavour universality, lepton-flavour violation and the anomalous magnetic moment are usually in the limelight of the muon theatre, more mundane observables also play a crucial role. I will discuss the computation of precise QED predictions of muonic processes and illustrate their impact on our understanding of the physics of the Standard Model and beyond.
