sics? Two examples of the interplay between g-2\, lepton-flavour violation
\, Higgs physics and other observables

: \nDescription: <p>The talk will first give a brief overview of the resea
rch of the particle theory group\, including recent progress on formal and
theoretical aspects. The main part of the talk will then focus on ongoing
work on phenomenological aspects of two specific scenarios for physics be
yond the SM: the general two-Higgs doublet model\, and the R-symmetric SUS
Y model MRSSM. In both cases there is a surprisingly rich interplay betwee
n various kinds of observables\, which can be used to explore the possible
/viable/interesting parameter space of the models.<br /> In the two-Higgs
doublet model\, the observables in question are the muon g-2\, B-decays\,
 tau-decays\, Higgs decays\, non-SM Higgs searches\, and  Z-peak observabl
es\; in the MRSSM the relevant observables are g-2\, mu->e conversion meas
ured at COMET\, Higgs mass and Higgs decays\, dark matter\, and LHC SUSY s
 earches.</p> <p> </p>
